What is your connection to the UW Carbone Cancer Center?
My mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer when I was 17 years old. We spent a lot of time there during her surgeries and treatments. Thanks to the team at the Carbone Cancer Center my mom has been in remission for 10 years! 

What is your favorite ELB / UWCCC event?
Since I am new to ELB, I’m excited to learn and experience more of the events. I’m mostly interested in Lab Tours!

What is something interesting about you?
I was born in South America and immigrated to the United States at age 7 knowing no English. Now I can speak 3 languages.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Cuba! The people are amazing and there is so much history in the country. It’s like stepping back into the 70’s.

Everyone has a guilty pleasure.  What is yours?
Oh man, I have several, I would say reality TV. It’s so terrible, but I love it! The bachelor this season will definitely give me the dose I need.
