What is your connection to the UW Carbone Cancer Center?
I have a few personal connections to the UW Carbone Cancer Center. When my mother was co-chair for the Sparkle of Hope annual event benefiting gynecologic cancer research, I joined the planning committee for several years to support efforts. Furthermore, my grandfather, and several family friends have also received excellent care from UW Carbone Cancer Center doctors and team.
What is your favorite ELB / UWCCC event?
Looking forward to the Trivia Night with Andy North this year! In years past, I’ve also enjoyed Sparkle of Hope.
What is something interesting about you?
I’ve lived in 2 different countries for school and work—Spain (Seville) and Germany (Heidelberg).
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Bora Bora—my husband and I honeymooned there and we would love to return someday!
Everyone has a guilty pleasure. What is yours?
Ice cream 🙂 — peppermint stick ice cream is my all-time favorite but I’m really not picky.
