What is your connection to the UW Carbone Cancer Center?
I know a handful of people with ELB experience that speak very highly of UWCCC’s impact and I have attended multiple events in the past which I was always extremely impressed with.
What is your favorite ELB / UWCCC event?
The Garding Against Cancer Signature Event, the year that Charlie Berens was the guest speaker was incredibly fun!
What is something interesting about you?
I am originally from Swampscott, MA which is just north of Boston, so I am an all-Boston sports fan. When I’m not cheering for Boston sports, I’m cheering for Wisconsin sports teams, Marquette basketball, or my two boys’ sports teams.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Healdsburg, CA in Sonoma County. Low key atmosphere with a charming downtown, amazing wines, friendly people, and incredible views of the mountains and vineyards.
Everyone has a guilty pleasure. What is yours?
Hot roast beef sandwiches from north shore Massachusetts (think Kelly’s from Good Will Hunting). Locals order them as a “three-way” and it comes with mayo, cheese, and bbq sauce. Every time travel back to the North Shore, I have to get at least one!
