What is your connection to the UW Carbone Cancer Center?
Growing up in the Madison area, I’ve been able to see firsthand how much progress our community has made in cancer research. Watching and hearing about the UW Carbone Cancer Center and how it draws people from around the world to travel to receive treatment here, is something that is pretty unique to have right in our backyard. Unfortunately, breast cancer is something that has been very prevalent on my mother’s side of the family, now having touched every generation for the past three. Being able to have the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful was an opportunity that I couldn’t be more excited about.
What is your favorite ELB / UWCCC event?
My favorite event has been Trivia night by far! We have gotten to be a part of it for the past two years as an attendee and have had an awesome time.
What is something interesting about you?
Interesting fact about me is that I DO NOT like the ocean. I am not afraid of the Ocean, I’m afraid of everything in that could ruin my day!
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
D. My favorite vacation spot so far to date has been Italy. My wife and I have visited over ten cities over our two trips there, even getting meet some of her relatives in Sicily.
Everyone has a guilty pleasure. What is yours?
Donuts. I love a good Donut, no filling though.
