Melissa Skala, Ph.D., is an Investigator with the Morgridge Institute for Research and a UW Carbone Cancer Center Member. Her work explores using light-based technologies to develop personalized treatment plans for cancer patients. Her lab collaborates with other scientists to leverage these unique imaging technologies for clinical problems, including quality control in T-cell and stem-cell therapies, monitoring diseases in the eye, and predicting pre-term birth, among many others.

Attendees will participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations.
