What is your connection to the UW Carbone Cancer Center?
I work for a communications agency in the cancer space so I have been closely following the center’s work for the last several years. When there was an opportunity to join the ELB, I jumped at it! It is a wonderful thing to be involved in something that really makes a difference in the community and the greater region.

What is your favorite ELB / UWCCC event?
I’ve attended the Lab Tour and really thought that was a great way to get up, close and personal with the research. I look forward to that and a lot of the other fundraiser we planned this year.

What is something interesting about you?
Hmmm. Well, I guess some people know I went skydiving once. But not many people know I won a free tandem jump in a bar the night before. I woke up really early the next day and just went and did it – I didn’t tell anyone or take anyone with because I was afraid someone would talk me out of it. Looking back, I also may have still been under the influence 🙂

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
 I’ve got a lot of favorite places but for sentimental reasons, Big Sur is my top.

Everyone has a guilty pleasure.  What is yours?
A stupid game on my phone. That I keep deleting and then keep reinstalling. It is the end of me.
